Races: Run 1 Miles, Bike 12 Miles, Run 3 Miles
The Sept 8th Pacific Coast Triathlon is in its 16th year and is one of the best races in the United States. Having hosted 2 USA Triathlon Sprint National Championships, numerous Southwest Regional Championships, including 2011 & 2012 and an ITU Olympic Distance Pro Triathlon 2003 there aren't many races that can claim those distinctions.
The 1/2 mile swim, 12 mile bike & 3 mile run is safe, fast and exhilerating. All athletes get a commemorative poster and shirt.
We've also added a Duathlon to the PCT and an Aquathlon. Our Kid's Race is the Championship race for the Southern California Youth Triathlon Series, which attracted over 80 kids last year.
Located in one of the most beautiful stretches of the California Coast the athletes swim in El Morro Cove, ride their bikes on a closed section of the PCH and run along the bluff and along the sand of Crystal Cove State Park.
Newport Beach and its shopping, beaches and restaurants is only a couple of miles away.
Discounted hotels through Marriott are available within 4-6 miles from the race site.
